The Warriors enter 2010 looking to turn around last year’s fortunes after dropping seven of their last eight games and finishing 3-7 overall. Long-time head coach Ron Hamilton stepped down after last season, and the void has been filled by Tucker, a 2010 Wartburg College graduate who is also the new K-12 physical education instructor and middle school health teacher at Walnut. Tucker, a native of Strawberry Point, Iowa, played four years of football at Wartburg and was a defensive captain his senior year, when he finished with 19 total tackles, four tackles for loss and one sack. This means that new user accounts will need to be created.  Of course, no user account is required to view all the pages of the website, only to add content or comments. The current system has proved to be cumbersome and was not widely adopted by registered users.  The new system will be based on the more open and popular WordPress blogging backend.  This should be more familiar to anyone interested in contributing. More Details to come... I am currently investigating to see if the Joomla users can be imported into the WP system. Update: I have redirected the main page of the old site to the new site.
